🔌 Large Tapered Cork Plugs for Jars and Bottles – Size #48 (3 Pack) Review

After making this craft it occurred to me that it might be a dust magnet so these well made plugs were an easy fix! Great price - and I may have to make two more for gifts.

The three corks I received were very good. The cork is fine grained, not as open as others I've bought. They are thick, strong, and all sides are smooth and even. Keep in mind that they taper off a bit; the top is 3.5 inches but the bottom diameter is closer to 3.2. Because of this, they fit further into the jars than I intended, but they will work.

These cork tops are very precise and fit nicely in the container I ordered them for. They have a clean cut and are both attractive and functional. I had a ceramic container that I wanted to use for snacks, but it didn't have a lid. I measured and then ordered these cork lids to keep the snacks from going stale. They fit snugly in the container, especially as the sides are keyed and able to accommodate small changes in the size of the container they are shipped in.

This product was difficult as the description of all 3 sizes, large, medium and small show the same measurements so the description was obviously inaccurate but I got along with it Medium tries size to cover a glass Crackel Barrel I bought from a drift shop to use for one of my indoor terrariums.
