I needed felt to make handles for homemade shields at a kids party. It was exactly the size I expected. As other reviews have said, some parts were softer or firmer than others and the colors were unpredictable, but for a few bucks they got the job done. None of the kids complained about the spiky bandages and hot glue, so that's all that mattered to me.

I placed them between the enameled pots and pans. They work. Each color sheet is slightly trimmed and comes in a different size, thickness and texture. Definitely quality craftsmanship. If you need consistency, look elsewhere. Pretty thin but functional. I know it's a mixed color set but I only liked 4 colors - just personal preference. Finally, I groped around the yard and cut out large 17" circles with triangular cutouts to better fit the pots when bent.

I had to deduct 1 star because of the different thickness of the individual colours. It's still good quality, thicker and stronger than the cheap .28 felt, but if that's what you mean by saying you want to sew it into an amigurumi-style piece, I think the variation in thickness when sewing is an issue could. .
