I bought these boots for my 8 year old daughter before the snow storm hit. They arrived on time but that was about all that was good about them. They fit, but the straps at the top weren't tight enough to hold the snow, and the deeper snow was already getting her feet wet. The strap in the middle cannot be tightened because the Velcro attachment point is not long enough and therefore contributes to the fact that they do not fit well. In general, these shoes are not bad. I was very disappointed that the plastic runner on one of the boots broke when my son first wore them. It was all shattered, and when I went to check it all fell into lots of little pieces. Considering they came straight out of the box into my son's closet and only taken out once so he could try them on before first use, I'm guessing that was either at the time of shipping or before shipping.
