Great skateboard for my 11 year old son

My son is 11 and soon to be 12. He weighs about 95 pounds. This skateboard is great for him. This is the first skateboard he owns. There were cheaper ones out there, but after a little research it seemed to me that a skateboard that was at least 28 inches long, or in this case 31 inches, would be easier to ride. And it seems to be true. He has no learning problems. I'm 6ft 2in, 185lbs and have tried showing him what to do a few times and had no problem either. 8" wide fits 12 feet my height…

Great skateboard for the price!

My son has been wanting to get a skateboard for a long time so I decided on this skateboard as there seems to be some neat things in it that he can customize. It comes with a handy carry case and the stickers and colors that come with it make it fun for my son to customize. The skateboard is rated at 200 pounds. weight so I decided to give it a try before leaving it to my son. One thing you need to do is make sure the wheel bolts are properly tightened so there is no sideways movement. However,

Very good for beginners!

I wasn't quite sure at first. I thought it was a waste of money because the reviews were mixed. However, in my experience (I'm 12 years old) this is a really good board! I bought it with my own money and I have no regrets. Is it good for flips and tricks? Probably not, but I'm just a beginner and don't intend to do all that. It's great for cruising around the block and I would definitely recommend it for beginners! Edit: Okay, it's been a few months now and I don't use this board anymore. As I…

Perfect size and quality for a 4 year old

We bought this for our 4 year old who loves to ride scooters as the next step in developing his skills. But that wasn't our first attempt. It was a small $20 22 inch board that was highly rated by Revain but turned out to be completely useless ie. She couldn't even lean into the curve! and strong enough to grow with my son for at least a few years. While the description says it can hold 220 pounds, I feel like it flexes more than I'd like at my 200 pounds, so it definitely is not for adult life

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons

NOT for those who are newbies.

This board is great for beginners: the wheels aren't hard like rock which helps with grip, the board is a good size, all the parts are of good quality. However, for those who are not looking for their first board or are just starting out in skateboarding, this board will raise many questions. The reels are softer than regular reels, making tricks like Shuvit difficult, if not impossible. Along that grade, with the wheels gripping a ton more, it's over if you get bitten by the wheel, just get…
