Skater Magnetic Button Clasp Snaps Review

Great little magnetic snaps. I used this to replace the hook and snap closure on a holster. It worked great. The magnets are very strong and well made. A+ for using recycled metal for the support washers. I would definitely buy again if needed.

I used these to replace the little velcro on my diaper bag and they definitely work a lot better. I only removed the star because the inside back looks like it was just cut from metal cans. Super thin and thin. The magnets aren't very strong, so you'll have to bring one side to the other. Still. Velcro is better!

I use them for bags and purses, they are easy to apply, cheap and perfect for my needs. I've used similar sized magnets from Joann's and the holding pressure on them is VERY strong, I'm afraid of tearing the material of the bag. They hold at the point where I can lift my wallet with a magnet, but release easily with a slight twist/push to the side. My only wish is that at this price point they come with lead certificates (required to manufacture suitable children's products).
