Two months ago these shoes completely deformed. The sole sucked into the boot, resulting in its deformation and a large dent inside. Absolutely unbearable. I have no idea what caused it.

Sketchers have a relaxed fit and are great for people like me who are somewhere between regular and wide. They fit great and have great cushioning and support. I run 15-25 miles a week and this is the second pair of GoRun shoes I've owned. These are great shoes. They last about a year as long as you don't wear them down as I run on pavement, gravel, dirt and grass, but that's true of most running shoes including the Champion, Tesla and Underarmour. Comfortable immediately after purchase due to the soft materials and flexibility, but the longer you wear them, the more comfortable they become. In fact, they are like glorified slippers. If I walk a lot, I don't choose these shoes. On more active days I usually wear a pair of Cole Haan. Good for playing around, but that's about it. With them, you get what you pay for and as long as you expect it, they're fine.
