This shoe is lightweight, well constructed and should be comfortable and cool to wear. I sent them back because the laces are small diameter rubber cords and are not adjustable. I would have to wear a shoehorn to put them on and that would be quite uncomfortable. I have arthritis in my hands which makes it difficult to put on shoes otherwise these shoes would serve me well. I ordered a size 10 and the shoes were a comfortable 10.
