I bought these as a Christmas present for my 5 year old granddaughter. She wasn't even wearing them for 3 weeks when the velcro almost fell off the shoe. Since the rest of the shoe was still in order, I painstakingly attached it by hand. The shoe material was very thick and the sewing needle had to be pierced.
