Skechers makes fashionable shoes. They have no idea how to make shoes supportive or comfortable. I received these shoes on January 9th, now February 15th and both have already torn the fabric on the back where they are rubbing against my Achilles. Both of my feet are cut at the back where they rub against the edge of the hard plastic in the shoe frame. I also had a week off! This happened in less than a month! If I hadn't been on vacation I would have known better how bad they are and would…

Bad example of work shoes

I contacted the manufacturer with no response. These shoes feel really great. They are good for walking as I would expect Sketcher shoes to be. The problem is that these are safety shoes for work. I believe if you were to use these shoes for walking in a squeaky clean warehouse environment they would be fine. However, the outsole design of this shoe is not very good. It features tiny cutouts on the outsole instead of the typical cleated design. The problem is that everything - and I mean…

One year, 8 months and they're still holding up

. A year, 8 months and they're still holding up. Do they still look like new? not bad? Are they still working properly? pretty much. As I said, they show products in general. I didn't have to change my insoles, I probably should have, but I didn't, and I'm on a concrete floor 8-12 hours a day. Do the insoles look worn? Yes, but the shoes are still surprisingly comfortable for me. I bought my first pair from the manufacturer's website simply because I couldn't find them on Revain's website 20…

how to measure them

You've read or heard that people buy wide shoes because of the tight toes of steel, aluminum and composite shoes. The Grinnel Sketchers have a "relaxed" fit so the toe box is roomy from the start. They are slightly wider at the front but not wider around the foot including the ankle like the wide ones. If you have thick ankles and EEE wide feet, then order wide. They are actually the most comfortable work shoes I have ever tried. Please order your normal size. 10.5, order larger 10.5.

Won't last a whole year

Toe box is excellent, roomy, new shoes are very comfortable. However, the insole becomes a bit flat after about 6 months and is no longer soft. After about 6-8 months, a hole develops in the insole in the area of the thumb, which tears the inner fabric on the back of the ankle. After about 8 months, the stitching around the toes will come loose and the front of the shoe will come loose. I usually wear shoes for 10 to 11 months. The photos other people have posted show the clothes right on her…

Looks good so far (test on reviews)

I usually get 11.5 because some sneaker brands have different sizes. still have to see how it resolves. Hopefully it doesn't take too long and you're still comfortable after this point. The only downside to an insole is usually that the memory foam doesn't stay as soft as memory foam. If you work every day and wear sneakers, the memory foam stays flat. One of the downsides I see so far would be the skid resistance I think of it like your car tires, you need the right amount of thread and it…

BEST WORK SHOES!

The best work shoes! I walk 5 to 6 miles a day on concrete and have to wear steel toe shoes for work. I'm testing new cars for a factory job and have been struggling with leg pain for 5 years. I bought my first pair of Sketch work shoes and immediately bought another pair. Very comfortable from day one. No need to "break". Best of all, after an 8-hour shift, I don't have to "put my feet up" or sit down to get back on my feet. After 17 years in the military and an active lifestyle, I know the…

Pros
  • There is something to it

  • There are doubts

Purchased 12 Extra Wide Relaxed fit - regular size 12 W, 2E or 4EP Pros: Very comfortable to walk on concrete all day Memory foam insole provides excellent shock absorption Sole is quite stiff, which is among similar Conditions Relieves pain Big toe stiffness or plantar fasciitis Good price compared to other brands of work shoes True to size, plenty of room for very thick socks Composite toe box does not dig in or affect comfort in any way Cons: Shoes can get hot and sweaty in warmer conditions
