🎨 Enhance Your Artistic Skills with Sketch & Wash Pencils 2/Pkg Review

These are my favorite sketching pencils, I've looked for them in art stores and couldn't find them but found two packs on Amazon. Hooray! Fast delivery too!

Add water along the lines with the brush to create shadows. It is even possible to largely remove lines with clean water. Use watercolors over the sketch for color and add lines in the shadows. These are ideal for draftsmen, a small wet brush makes great drawings over a pencil. I use it for a light design sketch in front of a full watercolor and it's great. It doesn't wash off completely but looks fine if you ever see it in the final painting, much less aggressive than pencil or charcoal if you draw lightly.

I bought these to include when I paint my watercolor sketches and they do the job perfectly. In addition, they are generally excellent pencils for drawing. They mix very well and dissolve better than I initially expected. Just a tip: make sure that your lines don't go too far into the paper when drawing, so that all the pigments dissolve.

Like many others, I love this pencil for the fine lines and it takes practice to figure out how much pressure to use. However, the main problem is constipation. I used Duster compressed air to clean the tip, slider and body. If you google "How to use Orenz" Pentel also has a video explaining how to take it apart and clean it with a cleaning needle, which I don't think cleans well enough.

These water-soluble pens make playing so much fun! I prefer to paint on a free sheet of watercolor paper, add water there and then use the color of my choice rather than paint directly onto my drawing and then add water (gives me more control as I find there are leftovers, unwanted pencil marks after adding water). Just my preference! If you're not sure if you're going to like them, I'd say go get them! Great purchase, I will definitely buy again soon.
