This clamp fits perfectly on my Planet Bike 700x35 rear fender. There is more than enough clearance between the clamp and my tire.

I have an English 3 speed from the 1950's and the old fender clip was badly rusted. This one was a great replacement. I just agree that they offered it in more metals (brass or aluminum for example).

I used two of these to attach the fender to the brace rather than letting the fender 'stay' which complicates things and potential problems down the road caused. They were easy to handle and fitted well with the edges of the wing with a slight curve. I would buy them again.

I bought 65mm for Gilles Berthoud's 60mm stainless steel fenders which didn't have a seatstay mount. I reshaped and tightened the clamp and it works great. It rapped a bit, so I used old pieces of pipe between the fender and frame, but that's not the clamp's fault.

I'm giving five stars although SKS should get -5 stars because this metal is not built into their fenders, specifically Bluemel's 53 fenders (offshore fenders). All other SKS Bluemels and longboards I've bought came with a metal rear mount adapter, not the crappy plastic adapter that was in my latest Bluemels 53 (700c) fenders. Even moderate tightening of the plastic fastener on the seatstay bar will either cause it to come loose or the plastic to break. This ignores what the plastic will do in
