Happy with the seller, I don't like the headphones

I've been using Skullcandy Ink'd headphones for a long time. Thought I'd try these even cheaper Skullcandy Jib headphones. The seller sent them quickly. They work, but they're very different from the Ink'd model. I did notice that the cable is probably 4 or 5 inches shorter, the sound is good but with the smaller headphones they seem to pull out more than the ink version. The seller was ok but I wouldn't recommend the Jib model if you were happy with the Ink'd model headphones.

Cable is noisy to the touch, cable rough in cold weather

I noticed that there are two types of Skullcandy cables. Flat view and round view. The flat look is what is pictured on this product. What was delivered is round. I don't like rounds because they get stiff in cold weather and transmit the sound of cord scraping through my clothes. Additionally, the section of cable closest to the 3.5mm jack will produce audio noise when bent slightly in any direction. bad solder? These headphones are expensive in terms of what you get and what you pay for. Fur.

Not what I was hoping for

It's my fault for not buying the exact Skull Candy headphones I've bought in the past. I was just expecting the same quality as the Ink'ed headphones but that's not what I found to be true. The volume is definitely not that loud, which many probably won't notice. They don't feel as comfortable or durable as the Ink'ed earbuds. There's not necessarily anything wrong with them though, so I stick with the jibs until I lose them, which I seem to do on a fairly regular basis. Skull Candy is still…

The best headphones I've ever used.

Noise insulation is right! They are strong and durable and I can't hear anything other than what I'm hearing until I turn the volume down or take them out. I had the same pair for 5 years and then one day I let my boyfriend use them and he accidentally broke the wire. I've accidentally put them in the washer and dryer a few times, they've gotten wet, stepped on, thrown, tangled, and I really just thumped these headphones and they still worked for me. Highly recommended to buy again and again…

They stay in my ears and offer good sound quality

I mainly listen to news and podcasts, so I can't judge the quality of the music streamed. But they satisfy my needs, ie allow you to listen to the radio on a walk without the headphones falling out. I bought a pair of supposedly improved headphones that were too heavy (because of the metal parts) and kept falling out of my ears. For my needs they are better because I want the buds to stay indoors without having to press them repeatedly. One improvement suggestion: add a clip to make it easier…
