Feels expensive

Great buy... I bought to replace an old factory button on my '06 Mazda3. Fits perfectly, looks great and feels great. It's actually quite small, but it's very dense and has an amazing weight. i would buy again

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all

10/10 get rid of the stock gear knob

Wow, I just replaced the stock gear knob on my 1999 NB Miata and this gear knob is way better. Its size is just right for the grip and it has a lot of weight to make shifting very easy. The packaging is very neat, the handle is nice and protected. I couldn't even imagine going back in stock now!

High Quality Replacement Parts Shift Knob

I bought this Skunk2 shift knob for my 2007 Honda Civic fiancee to replace the large, bulky, odd shaped factory knob. All in all this is a good pen. It feels high quality and has a nice color and look. The pen itself is a little smaller than I expected and I had to wait about a week and a half to get the correct pen in the mail. I was sent a handle for Nissan the first time they sent me the product. I was a little upset as it was a birthday present. But otherwise I am satisfied with the…

I was starting to hate the stock button shifting as it took a while.

I put on a short shifter and used the stock gear knob until the leather started to peel off. I was starting to hate shifting with the stock button as shifting took some effort and was rough. Finally replaced by this pen and didn't regret it for a second. This thing is incredibly dense and heavy and really helps smooth out layers and reduce the chance of missing layers. I didn't think it would have that much impact. Worth every penny.

Ideal for short shifters

It's a lot smaller than the photos suggest, but it's the right size for most people. The weight is perfect, it's really nice to shift in addition to a set of short shifters from the Miata Roadster. The quality of the shift knob is first class at this price. A perfect matte finish, maybe a blackish gunmetal finish. The redshift pattern appears on it. It's a fingerprint magnet, but only if you look closely. I can't comment on the temperature of the grip in cold or hot weather, but it's worth…

The shift knob disk that is included does not fit

Yesterday I received the Skunk2 shift knob for my Mitsubishi Lancer GT (manual transmission). This was well ahead of the scheduled delivery date. That's cool. The gear knob finish is good, very well polished and smooth. It fits nicely in the shifter. However, the washer has the wrong groove size. The groove size of the washer corresponds exactly to the groove size of the shift knob. That's the problem. Because the shift lever grooves of the Lancer GT manual transmission for the shift knob and…
