🚙 Enhance Your Off-Road Experience with Skyjacker H7018 Softride Hydro Absorber Review

I bought these to replace my Monroe Sensa-Trac as I needed more shock clearance to get on the jeep xj and couldn't invest in more expensive shocks . On-road they're smoother than my Sensa-Trac, but off-road these shocks will blow your mind. Because of the bumpy road, I have to step on the brakes to be able to think clearly again. If these are your daily driver hits, then they're great, but stay away from gravel/dirt roads.

Needed a new set of plain jeep rear shocks so I could rebuild my heavy duty OME shocks. They were easy to install as I was able to insert the bushings by hand. The fit was tight with the type of bushings used, but everything matched. The ride is great and I am happy with the purchase. I didn't need the stem pins as I have stem spacers so I had to find metal bushings that would work in the top bushing holes.

Runs well. DO NOT pay attention to missing parts in the box. Make sure all urethane bushings, washers, etc. required for installation are in the box. I was unlucky and had to have the repair shop reuse on my front set the old bushings and washers that are part of the suspension system which are subject to wear and tear and sometimes fail. So if they fail I'll have to ask the shop to get the jeep back in the air and install the bushings and washers which I haven't received from Skyjacker yet…
