Excellent Shock Absorber for Industrial Use

This shock absorber has considerably reduced the vibrations in our machinery, making operations smoother and more seamless. The characteristic Nitro gas charge provides an additional layer of cushioning to the machine, significantly reducing the impact of harsh vibrations. Pros
  • Efficient in shock absorption, reduces vibration in machinery, provides additional cushioning
Cons
  • May require specialized equipment and technical know-how during installation

Good upgrade at a good price

These skyjackers were a great upgrade and added just the right "help" to a set of new taller rear coil springs on the 3rd gen 4runner. They ride hard, definitely not hard and not as expensive as the Bilstine but no worse than other brands.

Pros
  • Twin tube design
Cons
  • Expensive

smooth ride best shock and vibration control

Installed Skyjacker Nitro 8000 rear shocks along with NAPA rear coil springs on my 2000 Toyota 4Runner. I couldn't be happier! Rides smoothly and fixes the sag in the rear of my 4Runner that is common with 3rd gen 4Runners. Installation Tip: Use a jigsaw to remove the old shock absorbers under the top bracket as they fit snugly into the top bracket. Works great!

Pros
  • Red polyurethane bushings
Cons
  • No instructions
