Good spring but after 8 months it starts to rust due to part of the cover falling off just after we installed it on a 120ft zipline .

This brake is decent for me (175 lbs) with a slight drop angle. It is long, but quickly crumples, and then suddenly stops. I wouldn't use it for those who drive very fast. My 7 year old seems to enjoy the sudden stop and then rocking back and forth.

I have seen many children kick their feet against a tree at the end of a zip line. Didn't you want a bunji cord (sp?) attached to the ground and looking like it might bounce off someone? This product was great. Strong enough even for adults. Must be set when installing the line for the first time. Cannot be added later.

Works great. I had to double them up to make sure I had enough stopping power because my zipline drops about 4%-5% top to bottom over 165 linear feet. Sp I felt like 2 would be better than one. Here you see them in action at the end of the zip code, and despite considerable speed, the driver doesn't even get close to the anchor (tree).

This is a game changer! I had to buy this at the same time I bought the zipline because it's difficult to install when you already have a zipline and it works - just because you have to take the zipline off, hit the brake and reinstall. But this is possible! I read a review that this is not possible after installation, which is wrong. You can, it just takes a little time, patience and effort!
