Stable Platform for Perfect Shots: Tripods and Monopods vs. EZ Aim Game Camera Mount

When it comes to stability and precision in wildlife photography, there's often a debate between traditional tripods and monopods versus the EZ Aim Game Camera Mount. While tripods offer excellent stability, they can be heavy and cumbersome to carry around in the wilderness. Monopods are more portable but might lack the stability needed for those perfect shots. The EZ Aim Game Camera Mount strikes the perfect balance, providing a stable platform for your camera without the bulkiness of a tripod.

Decent camera mount. Definitely expensive there for

Works exactly as advertised, works in harsh environments - 20F use some vegetable oil to prevent ice and rust build up otherwise they haven't been used in years. They are expensive for what you get. There are cheaper options.

    Pros
    • Easy install
    Cons
    • Not as thick as other picks

    Great accessory for trail cameras.

Ever since my husband opened the trail camera for Christmas, he has been using this super handy mount to move it every day. This mount makes it very simple and easy to change the position and direction of the camera. The screw is, as my husband says, "big" and gets into the desired place without tools. We are very happy with this purchase.

    Pros
    • An absolute legend
    Cons
    • Periodicity

Love these camera and photo mounts

I love these mounts but they don't snap, it's just a method of attachment and can be moved despite your effort. Attempts to block it are still a bit worried the animal will move if it decides to rub the camera. Otherwise excellent mounts that gave me the opportunity to place the cameras at different angles or better camouflaged by placing them next to the trees instead of in front of them.

    Pros
    • High marks for grip and durability from testers
    Cons
    • I vaguely remember

EZ-Aim III fits camera mounts and clips

Part that attaches to wood does not look like the photo. I was specifically looking for a "T" shaped screw to attach to wood without a drill. This is a Slate River EZ-AIM III mount but the image needs to be updated to reflect the product. The packaging states that the EZ-Aim III has been fitted with a forged steel propeller for increased strength and corrosion resistance. We'll see how it works in the field, whether it's an upgrade or not.

    Pros
    • Stylish and modern design
    Cons
    • Slightly wrinkled

The best and most versatile camera mount

This mount allows you to place your camera exactly where you want it and easily hide it. The tip is simply screwed into the trees. I've tried several mounts and this is by far the best. I've had several of these for the past two years and they haven't shown any corrosion or rust despite putting some WD40 on the ball joint. After installation, it takes a few seconds to rotate the camera to get different angles on the trail or in the field. After using these mounts I will never use a strap again.
