Description of Sleep Beyond MyComforter Washable Comforter

Filled with 100% washable wool. Encased in 100% natural cotton sateen, 300 TC. Perfect blanket for warmer seasons and climates, or for those who keep their bedroom temperature cool, from 69°F to 74°F. Keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer. Great at ventilating and wicking dampness without making you feel cold or clammy. Less time is spent tossing and turning. Breathes more naturally than down and synthetic products. Wool acts like a thermos; even the sheep do not get cold on a bitterly freezing, snowy day, nor on hot sweltering summer’s day in a pasture. Their wondrously created wool fibers insulate the sheep just as our comforters insulates us.

The Perfect Spring Blanket

I have the regular Sleep & Beyond duvet which is good but too warm for nighttime temperatures of 50-60 degrees. This duvet is perfect for the off-season. It offers the perfect weight feel for spring and I would imagine fall evenings. It feels massive but not too heavy. A+ product.

Just perfect. Oh how comfortable.

You won't want to get out of bed under this duvet. It keeps the temperature just right, no more night sweats. It smelled lightly for several days. I use a blanket for this. The weight of the blanket is perfect. It's so cozy that I also have a mattress topper. i sleep all night Excellent purchase.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Perfect for Seattle's changeable weather

Perfect for Seattle's changeable weather. This is my first wool blanket and I was concerned about the packaging making it feel too flimsy, but actually it's perfect. Where my old polyester filled comforter would be too hot on warm nights or too cold on cool nights, this one is perfect for any night. In winter I think about adding a blanket, but in spring and summer I use them separately.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Love this duvet

I'm so happy with the lightweight duvet! I use it as a blanket for my bed and it offers just the right amount of warmth, comfort and weight. I sleep much better under this blanket and I don't wake up in the cold or in the heat. I did a lot of research and am so glad I chose this blanket! I originally ordered a king bed for my king bed but returned it for the super king bed as it offers more length on the sides.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other options

So happy with this purchase!

It was a long and difficult search for this duvet after dry cleaning ruined my other summer duvet. I have purchased and returned five other lightweight quilts. Most of them claimed to stay cool but they didn't or we were too bulky for the hot summer nights. This blanket is perfect. It's light and warm at the same time, but not so warm that I wake up in the middle of the night to take it off. I'm a happy dream again!

Great for summer - lightweight but keeps body temperature stable

I suspected this duvet might help lower body temperature while you sleep but it does a fantastic job. I was able to lower the temperature of the air conditioner and sleep more comfortably. Not too hot or too cold. It's light, so I miss the weight of heavier duvets, but it does what it says on the tin. I plan to buy another one to double for the winter. I use a comforter that has ties on the corners and the comforter stays in place and the corners are tied with ties.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Out of fashion

SO PRETTY! Breathing!

I've heard of wool bedding and heard that it's more breathable, more absorbent and better for year-round sleep. I've had duvets and synthetic duvets before and I have to say I love this wool duvet! I just seem to have a normal temperature all night. Nice. MAJOR CONS: No corner ties for the duvet cover? HOW TO MAKE A CEILING WITHOUT A COVER!?! The only reason I ordered this blanket over the others was because it was wool. I don't like that it doesn't have angle ties. One star deduction for that.

Pros
  • Builds Confidence
Cons
  • Some Difficulties

Wow I thought I had insomnia until I found this blanket!

This blanket is a game changer! Nicely made and inexpensive. That is exactly what is described, a duvet with wool filling. While researching how to improve my stinky sleep for years to the point where I can barely fight to fall asleep while driving (I know, right?), I made a few adjustments: raw cotton sheets, better pillows, melatonin, semi-coffee. Coffee and tea etc etc. Sleep got better but I kept waking up around 3am from overheating. No night sweats, just hot like she'd taken a shift off…

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Weak set
