I have used slipphones for many years. The replacement speakers worked for at least a year before they started shorting out, but the last ones I bought only worked for a month before failing. $30 is pretty expensive for 30 days use so I think I'll switch to a new product.

In the last three years I've swapped four pairs of idle phones. Every time the plug fails, the audio becomes patchy and uneven. Last time I decided to see if replacement parts would be more profitable. So far they are holding up, but at almost the same price and exactly the same defective design, next time I'll just repair the bushing myself and replace it with something stronger.

Well these are nice flat speakers to wear comfortably at night in the Acoustic Sheep headband. But the speakers wear out after a few months. Yes, I wear them all night, every night, but that's what this product is made for. First comes a speaker, then another. I keep buying a replacement but it makes me angry and I will switch once I find another brand. I'm trying out CozyPhones right now.

Great sound and comfortable fit. However, the cables shorted out after about 6 months of use. I've been through so much over the years that I've even attempted to fix the connection myself. It's an easy repair, but the wires used are so cheap and of poor quality that they snap and break instantly. I would pay three times as much for a pair with quality wiring and housing. The Bluetooth version doesn't have long enough battery life for me (last time I checked it was 8 hours or less).

These replacement headphones cost almost $30 and the cable started to come loose within 3 days of use. I had already sent my SleepPhones in for repair a month earlier for the same problem - the plug adapter made no sound at all even when I twisted it. I use an iPad (mini) and there are no problems with other headphones, only with these. I just don't like that they charge $30 for a replacement not counting the headband. Update: Yes, broke again (4th or 5th set, now lost), thanks to disciplined sleep and a clean lifestyle, I was able to last almost 2 years this time. .Although I've soldered toys and other low voltage electronics for decades, I can't repair them. If anyone knows of a cheaper brand I'm all ears, quality doesn't matter as they break quickly anyway. ----------------Previous review below----Works perfectly.
