Pretty good slicer but I bought it mainly for mangoes. You need to peel the mango and put a juice bowl underneath. There is still a lot of fruit in the pit, I feel a lot of fruit is missing. Good for other fruits.

I liked the idea of getting a clean cut of the bottom of the apple because of the base it sits on. But no matter what we did, because it had to line up with the notches as it went down, the result wasn't a pure cylinder of pit, but a deformed blob containing a huge chunk of apple with a huge chunk of pit sliced into slices leave. :(

I love this product idea and we definitely use apple and mango chunks. The holder keeps all the pieces together and also makes cutting safe as it holds the item in place. But the cut leaves a lot to be desired. It's very boring and you have to wiggle it around to make it work. For this reason, as you understand, the tomato cutter does not work at all. Great idea but product delivery could be improved.

Excellent all-round slicer. Copes quickly with apples, mangoes, tomatoes and round fruits. The base is required. It prevents your fruit from slipping and rolling which can cause accidents, and the handles give you the bar you need to apply weight to slide through the blades. At first we had some trouble positioning the mango correctly, but once we got the angle right we had no trouble. I definitely recommend this slicer to everyone.
