They are great for me

Just what I was looking for to help me check the air in my truck tires. I only use one at a time and don't leave them on the tires so no problems with deflation. I love their metal cases and they work great for me.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Updates available

They work! on Tools & Equipment

I needed this to inflate the tires on my electric scooter. The wheel was designed in such a way that there was not enough space to mount the air jet on the valve stem and supply compressed air. They were just perfect to solve the problem.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Some Errors

DO NOT BUY! good for tire repair tool

Bought to lengthen the valve stems on the front tires for the hubcaps. These do NOT work! They leak daily - my tire pressure went from 80psi to less than 30psi in one day! I. They do not work to inflate tires. No matter what adapter I tried, none of them sealed them or allowed me to inflate the tire. TOTALLY CRAZY! DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No

The leak is at the VALVE END, not the threads. GARBAGE.

TERRIBLE. Two flows from Pack 4. Bad. I entrust MY LIFE to these 30 foot van drivers. I wouldn't be surprised if the other two lick as well. How I marveled how such a cheap thing could have so many rave reviews. Maybe they put them on beach balls instead of hoops. That is trash. Complete GARBAGE.

Best Design Flaw in Tire & Wheel Tools

I've worked with bikes for 40 years and have used slime for at least 20 years. These things have a GREAT DESIGN!. They have a little red gasket that compresses around the extension pin when you tighten the Schrader valve and doesn't let air through. After several different valve cores, three different air liners, I finally figured it out. I had to rip out part of the red gasket to create an air passage. Not an easy job, the material feels like hard plastic and must have been pressed in.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

NOT Schrader Valves

I bought these because the first question and answer was if they are schrader valves and the answer was yes. This is NOT accurate. Instead of a Schrader rod, these extensions have a ball valve on the end. It is very difficult to install and make a good enough connection to get a pressure reading. Haven't tried them with the chuck handle on my air compressor, but I hope it works and makes it more useful. But I've tried checking tire pressure with a regular gauge and had trouble getting it just…

WORKS WELL - BUY TWO PACKS

I used these on my 1965 Oldsmobile 442 with wire wheel covers. The plastic valve stem expanders that were on the valve stems didn't work at all and I couldn't check tire pressure or add air to the tires. They solved this problem as the standard tire pressure gauge seals well, doesn't leak and reads accurately and I can easily add air to the tires. You may have to apply a lot of pressure to get air in the tires. I would suggest buying two packs (they are inexpensive) as I have had trouble using…

It is very useful to have

Why did I choose this rating? I chose 5 stars because I really don't want to drive without it anymore. What did I like or dislike? it's so much easier because the caps are sometimes pressed close to the stems. I also use them to pump water out of my reverse osmosis system because the shaft is very short and surrounded by plastic so it was almost impossible to find a suitable pump other than a portable bike pump which was difficult to use for this purpose . Now I can use the floor pump. They're…

Air Leaks - Won't Seal

I wish I had read and listened to all the negative reviews. I bought an electric bike last year and the instructions don't give really good maintenance info and it's a nightmare trying to figure out what it takes because electric bikes don't look like regular bikes. I had to look at the tube just to figure out how to remove the rear tire and there was NOTHING mentioned about a tube with a longer stem so I ordered a puncture proof mountain bike tube but found the air valve was too short so…

Metal valves as expected

For use on an adult tricycle with old fashioned plastic spokes that are too close to the valve stem and the tube has a short stem. It is not possible to grab the valve if the tire is too low. I would like to leave them on as you often have to inflate the tires. I will test for leaks. The valve extension has a threaded end for the cap. My noisy electric inflator has a good hose end that can grab a short tube valve and get past tight spokes, but my new hand pump has a heavier end that needs an…
