Works very well and I have not blown out any air during use. The screen could be a little easier to read. This is an inverted LCD with a greenish backlight. There's an odd lens magnification/distortion, and the LCD is far from perfect. You can see it right in the picture. This is normal, but I see it as a problem in the wrong lighting conditions. The first one I got was inaccurate compared to several gauges including Slime (old model), Craftsman and TPMS car display. I mean 0.5psi is fine but no more. The second read nothing and showed 0 the whole time. The idea is good as it is slightly larger than the Slime Digital Sport Tire Pressure Gauge ASIN: B000ET5264 but has better light, larger display, better grip and theoretically easier valve sealing. But in practice it lacks accuracy (when it actually works) and the sealing causes problems

Pleasantly surprised at the moment. Really easy to attach and detach the valve stem without letting in a lot of air. And so far I can read it well, day and night. Good for the elderly who otherwise need reading glasses (they are not needed with this sensor). Item arrived on time and in good condition. The instructions were easy to read and understand. I particularly liked that this device is built to prevent air escaping when in use and that it has a backlight to help you locate the filling tube in the dark. I would have preferred you pressed the power button to turn it on and off rather than toggling between different modes. I needed an accurate digital pressure gauge to measure the pressure in the tank of my reverse osmosis system. The reservoir bladder must be between 5 and 7 psi to force water out of the reservoir and through the system faucet.
