Good fairing and works great.

I used this tight string on a bird feeder to keep squares out. As long as it works I saw the video on Facebook and decided to try it. The feeder stands on a high mast. I clipped the tie to the top of the bar and let it hang around the bar. The squirrel tried to climb the pole as usual but couldn't. This frightened him greatly and he ran away. He tried again and as far as I know didn't come back.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • So-so

Cost for new owners but it works

YES I could get it to go down the stairs. The tracks are 10 inches deep and 7.5 inches high. It took a little effort and a lot of trying. but it worked. The slinky itself looks a bit worn and the box was in worse condition. Anyone who receives it as a gift will think it has been used. The box looks like it was designed for a MUCH larger slinky lying along, but when you open the box the real slinky stands "upright". Kind of deceptive. But it suits me.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • No power

Watch the video to see what it CANNOT do!

As others have pointed out, this is not a "huge" slinky. Its diameter is about the same as what I spent a few hours with in the 1960s, but the fewer coils make it harder to get down the stairs. If you want proof, just watch the manufacturer's video - it doesn't include the part showing it going down more than one notch. If he could do the whole staircase like the original, you know damn well they'd show it. Disappointed but no longer surprised.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it, it's ok

That's not her biggest slinky

Apparently the difference between "Giant" and "Gynormus" confused me. It wasn't clear from the description that this wasn't a real oversize slinky skinny suit, but maybe it's longer than the real thing? Spring. I paid extra to stay over Christmas and now I'm very upset it's not what I needed. Also, I'm now another stupid person to write a negative Slink review. Maybe it's time to re-evaluate your life.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Little things

Misleading and, dare I say, falsely advertised.

This is misleading and incorrectly advertised. This is not a giant slinky compared to my childhood slinky, this is a falsely advertised regular slinky. The box is long to make you think you are buying a tall skinny purchase. In fact, the skinny box fits snugly against the box, with cardboard pads on the sides to keep the skinny thing from moving around in its oversized and misleading box. What you get here is a bodycon dress long enough to walk up stairs and nothing else. Still a quality fun…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Expensive
