Slipstreamer S 06T Motorcycle Windshield Smoke Review

This windshield fits my Street Harley 750 perfectly and looks good. This is a good buy if you are not obsessed with the Harley Davidson brand. Anything that has the HD logo makes the price go up exponentially. It's pretty short and I'm looking at it, not through it. It deflects the air over your head and does a good job of keeping bugs out of your mouth.

Bought to improve ride comfort on an older Yamaha XT550. In general, I really like the look of the windshield on the bike, maybe a bit unusual, but it suits me! I'm 5ft 9" and sit in a typical upright dual-sport position with the wind blowing about the middle of my helmet. Definitely makes the work of a long trip less tiring

Nice size BUT it comes off after every ride. I have to retighten the bolts every time I'm done riding, that is, when I go and when I come back. The screws come off easily and the windshield always goes up and I always have to lower it when I'm driving. I'll see if I can get other hardware for it so I can actually USE this windshield. Should have listened to the reviews. I'm sorry but I really wouldn't recommend this product.

The installation instructions accompanying the product are difficult to read and understand. I had to watch videos online multiple times to get the idea. After installation, the windshield will move slightly when the bike is stationary and the handlebars are turned to the left. Every time I have to readjust it before getting on the bike. Just installed it and drove it twice on the freeway and noticed how much better it handles. The wind isn't that strong anymore. I'll get back to you in a month or two to give an update. It's only been a few days and I had to adjust it due to the heavy impact and my helmet was shaking so much. I had to cut about 3 inches off each mount to keep it out of my gas tank. Complete nonsense. The chrome started peeling before I even tightened everything. Took a test drive once installed and was afraid it would blow away and hit my face, not to mention the wind noise was even louder with the windshield on than driving without it. Like many bikes without an air unit, the wind was pretty strong before I put the windshield on. Now I hear better and the pitch is perfect. Great product, perfect size, easy to fit and adjust, strong as a nail and can do 80mph with no issues. I've driven it through storms and on white rocky roads without a trace of difficulty (currently 1200 miles with windshield).
