Slow Bale Buddy Small Review

It's too difficult for me to clarify with my hay supplier. It has never been used and the supplier will not take it back. I am 3 days late from return policy. Not worth the money.

Keeps what it promises. Horses don't waste hay. However, it must be placed on a pallet so that the lower part does not touch the ground, otherwise it will rot from moisture.

Sturdy material, seems well made and thought out, easy to use mesh closure on top, plenty of room for a 4x5 bale, relatively easy to get around the bale. Only used on one bale so far but the horses haven't snapped anything and the net will be easy to fix if they eventually do.

This net is worth its weight in gold! I bought this in late December and have since fed 4 large round bales (our bales are 4ft x 5ft) and it is perfect for my 4 horses. Horses not only maintained their weight over the winter, they also gained weight. No wasted hay and the net is easy to put on and does the job perfectly! I bought a small net after reading a review here that said it would fit a 4x5 foot bale and that review was correct. Our bales weigh 1100-1200 lbs and the little buddy easily…

Well done and I don't see any problems with it. Either they gave the wrong size, or the warning that it's only big enough for a 4ft diameter bale isn't very accurate. This bag will likely fit a 5 foot diameter bale. Lots of space in it. I've double checked the box and the tag that came with it and it says it's small. The nylon webbing does not bond at all.
