We bought this because we had one more family overnight guest coming than we had beds for. Our middle aged son slept on it after my senior wife had no trouble setting it up. He said it was very comfortable and that he slept well.

Laying on it to test it out, sure. we all thought it would be comfortable but if you try to sleep on it throughout the night, it definitely dropped the comfort to a 3☆, especially if you are a side sleeper it will eventually hurt your sides. I had a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep, granted this is probably the best vs sleeping on hard ground/floor but I would buy a padding for it. The padding it comes with isn't thick enough but I love the feeling of the fabric, very soft and silky.

I have purchased several cots over the years, always disappointed because they never last more than a night or two. This one is so sturdy and strong, I don't see myself ever having to buy another one. Yes, the mattress is thinner than it shows, but I expected this. Just throw an extra one on if you need it.

Very easy to set up and close up. I did not sleep on it because I bought it for guests. However, I did sit on it for a while (note- I'm almost 200 lbs) and I also got on all fours and kind of crawled on top of it to test the sturdiness lol. Nothing buckled or shook. Seems very sturdy and well made. The cushion is soft and thick but I did fold a poufy down comforter on top for my guest just in case.

My husband and I love to go tent camping, but getting up from a single air mattress is getting harder and harder for both of us to do at our ages (65 & 75) and with new knees. This cot was the perfect solution. It isn’t too low to get up from and when you sit on the side to get up you don’t feel like it will tip over. The pad is really more like a comforter, it doesn’t do much. But slip a sleeping pad under it and it’s great.Worth the money 😊

Arrived in good condition, pretty sturdy. I purchased the one with mattress, it definitely is fluffy but compresses to almost nothing, it would be more of an insulation for warmth.Picture shows a side pocket but mine did not come with it. That was a big reason why I chose this model was because of the side pocket.
