Great BUT breakable

Loved everything about this but soon discovered this is not tempered glass. Fell out of the RV cabinet and shattered into many small sharp pieces.

Nice Quality, Tight Seal, but beware if using in fridge the glass attracts moiisture (duh!)

I guess this is a duh on us because we use it for ground coffee and store it in the fridge, not thinking about how the glass would inevitably attract moisture. This is not a huge problem, but the ground coffee sticks to the inside of the metal top which is annoying. Otherwise, works great and holds a decent amount of ground coffee.

  • FRESHER LONGER. Scientifically proven to keep your coffee flavor locked into the container. Air is the enemy of your food, coffee or tea. The Evak lid has a twin valve system that allows air to be released, while keeping the container firmly closed off. No switches, pumps or levers needed and best yet, valves never need replacing.

Easy to Clean best in my review

I like that the stainless portion of the handle detaches for cleaning.The glass jar had a tiny imperfection (a little nick/excess), but it wasn't enough for me to send back.I will say that if you're not careful removing the lid, the stainless portion scraps against the glass :(Overall it works and I like the look and feel of it, but I did drop a star due to the scrapping mentioned above.

Decoration over function

The idea is cool and yea the addition of a glass container on your counter is a great look, however one of the advertised uses is for keeping coffee beans fresh, which it did not do so well at. Coffee beans give off CO2 which can harm the flavor/freshness of them. This container seals that gas in with the beans, leading to them becoming stale more quickly. If you're not looking for that functionality in this product, it's for you.

Its glass - be careful

The product does what its advertised for. We use it for ground and whole coffee beans; and it does keep them fresh. But they are made of glass, so be careful.
