The quick release plate is exclusively designed for Ronin, Ronin M, and Ronin MX Gimbal stabilizers. The mounting plate could be worked as a tripod adapter and make it easy to attach the Ronin to a tripod, jib or any other accessories. Features two 1/4’’ threaded holes, two M5 holes and four 1/4'' countersinks for more accessories. Please unlock and slide out the Ronin handlebar assembly to install the mount. Made of aluminum alloy, sturdy and durable.

Does the job although difficult to prevent rotation

Does the job of mounting my Ronin-M on a tripod. However, it can be difficult to mate with anti-rotation pins. Like almost all cinema equipment, it is a simply machined block of metal, the price of which is high due to lack of demand.

Makes the Ronin-M so much more useful

This is the adapter you need to remove the Ronin-M from handlebar to boom, hood mount and steadicam carriage mount. Almost anywhere, but not on your weak, shaky human hands. Well made and finished just like every other item in the SmallRig kit I've purchased over the years. Highly recommended.

Neat well made adapter

Very well made adapter. Application: Unlock and expand the entire Ronin-M handlebar assembly. Replace with an exactly fitting mounting plate. You can then attach the mounting plate. on a tripod (you need to turn the gimbal upside down) or on a crane (with the screw threads hanging into the gimbal, the right orientation stays up). to flip the image right side up when editing.
