Works great and costs less!

I don't use Alexa. I used an app for this and you can download any app of your choice (e.g. Smart Life I think it's called) or use the app you already have on another wifi enabled socket to do this Taxes. It's easy to set up and works flawlessly. The point is that buying such a cheap device makes sense since they all use the same technology and the technologies are interchangeable.

Difficult at first but the features are amazing

This is an AMAZING device. Loaded with features, you can schedule and customize lights and other household items to turn on and off and react in endless ways. It takes a little getting used to at first as the included instructions are minimal. However I love it! Supports home automation services, but I don't currently use them. NOTE: The two outlets that are part of this two-piece adapter CAN be configured individually and/or together to suit your preference.

NOT 16A as stated in the product description, but only 10A!

I was looking for a 16A plug for a small 1500W heater. The product description here states that this plug is rated for 16A, but when I received the actual item the manual and packaging only clearly stated a maximum current of 10A. I wouldn't risk using it with anything that draws more than 1.1kW of power. I connected an outlet to a small 1kW coffee maker and a lamp.
