I expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

I expected more stable work from the great Garmin! Now I bought a xiaomi "smart watch" for my wife - everything works right out of the box, I didn't even have to intervene . Has pros: GPS functions work fine, better than smartphones on IOS and Android Cons: To receive notifications, you need to call all the shamans. Synchronization - workouts, weather and ates all work, but notifications do not. The first time I fought, everything worked only after two months, this is taking into account the…

All is well, liked the product, didn't buy it for nothing.

This is my very first watch just for running. Before that, I would run either with just my phone or with a Xiaomi bracelet attached to my wrist. If there is not a phone nearby that has GPS capabilities, the wristband is of no use. A chest heart rate monitor cannot be connected to it, which is another reason why it is inconvenient to run during the winter: if you want a pulse reading, you cannot put it on over a jacket. In addition, the heart rate monitor itself did not live up to expectations…

Pros
  • It's easier to get around without a phone. Built-in monitor of heart rate that is extremely accurate You are able to attach a chest heart rate monitor, even one that is not manufactured by Garmin, but it can be done (I have a Polar H10) In the event that there is a chest heart rate monitor, you will be able to comfortably wear it over your sleeve and view all of the indicators. There is a mode for running indoors that functions fairly admirably. Interval mode
Cons
  • The heart rate monitor becomes stuck (the problem as well as the solution have already been discussed), and in addition to that, it frequently mysteriously shows the pulse when the watch is placed on the table. Intervals can never be used to set sets (reps are allowed, but sets are not allowed) Not even a stopwatch! There is only an average step length graph (we are talking about Garmin Connect), not individual step length graphs (Xiaomi bracelet for one and a half thousand paired with MiFit shows a graph, but this expensive watch does not)
