Well I expected this to work for weighing my cat medication as it claims to have a resolution of 0.02 grams. It just isn't. I put a tablet and measured 0.1 grams. I cut the tablet in half and took out half and it weighs 0 grams. I add half of the tablet and it measures 0. I add the other half and it measures 0. At Measuring other small objects, it has a bad habit of automatically taring. It was a waste of money.

I had to look for a new scale; As my old RCBS powder scale has expired and I would try a digital scale instead of other slow and expensive mechanical scales. This is a good scale, I bought it based on reviews and it did a great job of checking the weight of the load on bullets I reloaded. The scale is fast and very accurate (bullet weight is measured in grains) and double checked the scale by reweighing, they checked for the grain.

I give this scale 4 stars for accuracy and overall because it needs to be calibrated but calibration requires a 500g calibration weight. I don't have a 500g weight and the cheapest I can find on Revain is $14.99 - MORE THAN THE WEIGHT! This is a big divorce. Neither the specifications nor the product description say anything about it. I am very upset. The scale works fine but the seller needs to update the specs and product description so buyers understand what they need to do to calibrate it.

The scale is beautiful and beautifully made. If I read the instruction manual you may have read online, it shows how to calibrate the element. I said ok I'll buy it.
