No-go-tig handle, broken o-ring

Would have given a better rating but arrived broken. You have to send the handle back for 0.10 cents for the o-ring. I will fix it myself.

Pros
  • Welding and soldering
Cons
  • Not sure

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's nice to be able to feed without a long learning curve

My only issue was that my feed hand in the MIG glove got too hot and the TIG glove was uncomfortable when guiding the rods. I will try to use the MIG index finger with the TIG glove. Ruby Goldberg, but hope it works.

Pros
  • TIG welder
Cons
  • Some bugs

Gentle on the hands. for welding and soldering

Buy the knurled version. Polished smooth with gloves. O-rings probably won't last long, but they're easily disassembled for maintenance. I'll probably just knock out the pins, tap one side and use the screws. I'm getting old and I have arthritis. This pen makes it easier to feed the filler. Too bad it came with a pocket clip. Nice tool but a bit overpriced.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Available in black only
