I wear dress socks once or twice a year. All my everyday socks are made of wool. Wearing my old cotton socks reminded me how much I hate cotton. In comparison, this is a big step forward in terms of comfort. Runs true to size and I'm glad my socks have some color.

I love elegant wool, I live in a hot climate but I need dress socks. Your feet will feel comfortable in them all day long. Light padding helps cushion my feet. They can be worn for days without worrying about odors, wool naturally repels odors. You look great even for a young man. Argyle never gets old!

I've been buying SmartWool socks for years and they last for years. I have changed about 10 pairs of SmartWool socks and the models have proven to be very durable. Signs of aging showed after just a few washes. The diamond pattern is knotted and worn and one of the socks has already started to thin on the side near the big toe. I'm disappointed.

Very comfortable medium weight suit sock. Has enough cushioning in the sole of the foot to feel like it supports you all day long. Rises slightly to mid-lower leg, doesn't slip at all. Lightweight, light enough to feel breathable in hot weather. At the end of the working day there is still a feeling of tension in the legs. So far it has held up well through washing/drying (have had it for a few months now) with no shrinking or tearing.

These are great socks and now I understand Smartwool's top price. They have thick underfoot padding and hold feet well. I wear them on cold and warm days and the socks keep my feet warm and dry too. I've also worn them hiking dusty, muddy trails and sand, and the socks are woven so well that the dirt and sand don't reach my feet. If they weren't $20 a pair I would buy a few more.

Warm and the right thickness for wearing boots in winter so there are practically no uncomfortable spots in the boots after wearing them all. Durable so (unlike other diamond shaped socks I've had) I don't have a problem with holes in my toes after a few weeks or less which is exactly what I need. My feet sometimes get too hot when I'm in the office in over 20 degrees Celsius, but outside I'm not cold at all in temperatures below 30 degrees Fahrenheit. They look great with my suit in the office
