Excellent pair of socks

I like that the socks are thin but comfortable, durable and go well with tighter boots/shoes. The pattern is attractive.

Pros
  • The best in their niche
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Thin and short-lived

I've worn Smartwool socks for decades. This pair starts to have holes from the third month. Is this brand losing quality? I have Smartwool socks that I bought 20 years ago and still wear. Damn.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not bad

Nice socks for every day

I love these cute socks! The pattern is fun without being flashy and the thickness is good for both indoor and outdoor use on non-cold days. They are comfortable (do not itch), fit perfectly and hold up well. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • boring packaging

I love these socks. - Sports socks

These socks have become my favorite! I wear sandals 90% of the year, but due to a trip to Minnesota in January I had to buy socks. They are thin enough to be comfortable and provide warmth as well. On the days we play outside I add insoles. They are perfect for a home I am keeping under 68.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Definitely recommend!

love these socks! In general, I love smart cotton. Thin yet durable, these socks will keep your feet dry and cool. My feet don't stink when I take these socks off and they dry pretty quickly when wet. I love the pattern and I like the gray as a neutral accessory compared to the rest of my colorful camping outfits. I recommend!

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • very expensive

The size is small; nice and warm

These socks are more elastic than standard SmartWool socks for a comfortable fit. I can never find socks that are small enough because I have very short legs. But for me the small size of these particular socks is smaller than other SmartWool socks and they almost feel too small. Otherwise I love her. They actually feel warmer than some of my thicker SmartWool socks.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • No power

Inexplicably baggy.

I have a lot of fancy wool socks and for some reason these new ultra thin socks are very loose. I wear 8/8.5 shoes and have always ordered the middle ones in plush wool. I could tell right away that they looked bigger than my old socks, but I double-checked the size tag and decided to wear them during the day. They keep hanging in the shoe while I walk. The old version of the socks were great, this one not so much. There's no reason to pay that much for socks that won't stay on!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No instructions

Well made but my feet are sweaty

I bought these socks for two reasons: (1) to be more durable and not need to buy socks as often, and (2) for the benefits of wool , including comfort and moisture wicking to keep feet dry. So far I think these socks are well made. They are tightly woven without extra threads, and the seam is very thin. Unfortunately, my feet sweat more in them than in any other socks. I even got a blister wearing them to work with a pair of slouchy leather boots that are usually quite comfortable.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Quick instructions

Soft? for clothing

I love very thin, high quality, non-pull out socks for walking/running (and even everyday wear) that don't get in the way of my minimal shoes. So I pay a shocking price for Smartwools because I find them worthy and I like them more than anyone else. I have ultra light. It's just odd that the Revain description says they're padded while the sock label clearly says they're not padded. I also bought Smartwool Sulawesi Stripe socks which say 'soft' in both the written description and the label. I…
