They have definitely helped with the sweaty feet problem I have struggled with for years. I never thought I would just have to replace my socks with wool socks. To make sure it wasn't an accident, I took two pairs and wore them to work for two days. (I wear steel toe boots) Both days my feet were dry and odor free. The next day I put on a new pair of cotton socks and came home with sticky and sweaty feet as usual. 100% sure these socks will work. definitely buy more

I bought these for my husband to wear to the office. We've always loved Smartwool thick hiking socks. As we've had some cold days lately I decided to try these for my husband to keep him warm when he goes to work. They're a little thicker than dress socks, but his dress shoes still go great with them. Thanks to the well-breathable wool, his feet stay warm all day and sweat less. Very glad I found these!

I beg you Smartwool, please make these socks again as soon as they first became available. I ordered 4 pairs of Smartwool socks in August 2015 and 4 pairs of DarnTough in February 2015. There is no pair of Smartwool socks available. They're all in the trash because they fell apart. On the contrary, I still have a pair of Smartwool socks from five years ago. I use them all the time. What happened? I will no longer buy Smartwool.

These are very comfortable wool socks according to my husband. They are slightly stretched, hold up well and feel good! I ordered him 10 pairs of black and 5 pairs of gray in this style. He wears them as dress socks, but I see they're casual too. They are easy enough to walk in any direction. I would highly recommend these socks to all wool sock lovers. My only complaint is that like all wool socks, they shed fluff all over the carpet. I wish that was fixed!

Love this brand of socks. Worth every penny. My first experience was buying a pair of boots sold at a hiking shoe store in North Carolina in 2006. I still have them and although they are a bit worn they still work. There are not many socks of this quality. I recently bought a few more as gifts for my brother-in-law.
