Well I wanted this to work as a hanging scratching post. But no. It's been described as a hanging scratching post, but the Velcro isn't as strong as a cat's and unfolds into a rug shape once pulled on it. But put it on the floor? She lies on it EVERY DAY. She pulls him to the window and lies down on the carpet in the sun every day. She loves this business. I'm giving it a few stars because it doesn't deliver on what it promises. But she is happy.

Great design and I wanted a scratching post that can be hung on the sliding door so my kittens will let me know they want to go outside. They use it, but even with catnip, they don't seem to care. I try different ways, I hang it on the door, on the bench by the door, on the floor, etc. Maybe they just need to get used to this scratch. I love it and its versatility. I lowered it to 4 because the kitties don't like it I thought. I give them time and more catnip 😉

Doesn't work that well in practice, especially for hanging on a doorknob. The parts that should stick together don't stick together, except at the very top - SOMETIMES. It's too bulky to lay flat, my cat tried to scratch it but it opened up and she got scared of it. If I put it somewhere (on the floor or the sofa) my cat will sometimes lie on it, but it's pretty much useless as a scratching post. Sad to say as it seemed so promising and otherwise well done.
