Smooth Bor 101 Flex Fill 1 3 Hose Review

This is not an OEM replacement for a hose that failed 11 years ago. The original hose had smooth sections every few feet. But the suggestion of using a small amount of silicone sealant eliminates the possibility of leaks. The first time the wrong size was sent but Revain allowed free returns and the correct item was delivered on time.

I've been looking for this hose for a long time as it really is a 1-3/8 ID. As you can see in my video I need it to fill my fresh water tank. I also set the tank to Revain. The hose is flexible and wrapped with a metal wire to give it strength. So you will need wire cutters or a saw to finish the cuts on this tubing. Really good flexible material. Clamps were used for attachment.

Used to replace the drain hose on our caravan. The inside of the hose is not smooth so I haven't been able to stop the leaks completely. Tossed everything to the other end of the barn never to be seen again, and ran a cheap Home Depot hose for an airtight sink. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to spend a whole day crawling in and out of your van and frustrating yourself.

This was the perfect replacement for a hose that was dry on my Fleetwood (Craftsman) RV trailer. Looks expensive for the price but I couldn't find it in local stores. It was easy to cut, and it didn't seem to matter that it didn't have flat sections like the original hose. Just make sure you use silicone on the bottom connection and clamps.

This material is hard to find - 1 ⅜ inch ID stuffing tube. Used to replace our Starcraft popup. seems a bit heavier than the original, time will tell. Inexpensive, simple solution. As mentioned, this is usually a lot more pipe than is needed for a replacement, but I'm sure I can find creative uses for the leftovers. Found on site, but Revane came through-

I've had trouble finding a hose of this diameter (1 3/8 inch) at local hardware and plumbing stores. I installed a hose on the overflow of my RV's fresh water tank. It took me more than the original 2 feet because I wanted to route the hose so the water would have to rise about 12-18 inches to drain the water so I wouldn't spill or splash while riding. The hose worked as it should. It wasn't as tight as the original 1 3/8" hose, but the clamps held it securely in place and it doesn't leak.
