I tried to gently pull out the old element, but one of the connectors came loose. So I have to pull the whole oven out to get access to the back. Bracket mounts backwards so when tightening the screws the panel rises 1" above the door. See photos and compare to GE branded parts. The spare is the one inside the oven and the other two photos are the ones outside the oven. The part is easier to make this way because the crimp is on the outside. The crimp also provides guidance which doesn't work the way this part is made. I will also note that the ends weren't parallel which meant I had to spread my legs to install it. My only suggestion to the suppliers is that they fix the error in the size chart which is one of the depictions on the Revain product page. This view shows a 3 inch spacing between cable connectors. The correct size is 2.75 inches. The supplier's rounding of this value to 3 inches did not increase my confidence in the product, but I decided to risk it and it worked. Original coil melted in one day. It took me a while to figure out the part number for the replacement spool, but I finally found it and hoped for the best. Replacement was easy, same spade connectors as original. The good thing is that it comes with racks already installed. The Kenmore reel I was trying to use didn't work and they were about $6 a clip which for two of them would be half the cost of the reel itself. Make sure you save two screws for reuse.
