They are great and just what I was looking for in winter boots for my six year old son. My son is a size 10 and says the boots are very snug on him, almost snug at first. I will order a size larger in the future. He's worn them a few more times so far and they're easier to put on and he no longer complains about the tightness and walks in them without complaint and he would definitely complain if they did. They are great and very warm. I bought thwm for my son and he loves them. They're a little chunky, but not overly chunky. Inside is a nice soft wool blend lining and a small hook at the bottom is excellent quality. My son said that during the break it rained in small puddles and got his socks wet.
