Who knows what you'll get?

Hex head bolts ordered, received a box of hollow head bolts in a container clearly marked 'Diamond tipped hex head bolts for concrete', shrink wrapped by the manufacturer. If their quality control is so bad that they can't put the right product in the box, I don't really trust their fasteners. no Return them and get a real box of Tapcons.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Hex Diamond Concrete Screws

I used them to build a staircase down to the basement. To attach the slats I used a Makita rotary hammer and a drill with screws. After drilling the holes, I used these screws to screw the brackets I needed to the concrete wall and floor. They work perfectly and provide very strong holding power to keep the braces in place. The hex head is very convenient and you don't have to worry about removing the cross drive.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

The drill bit isn't the best quality, but there's no real difference between the included Tap*** drill bit and this one. A quarter of the way into the box, the bit is still sharp, but not too blunt. But don't be lethargic, just be careful not to apply undue pressure and try to drill straight into the…
