Claimed to be UV protected, which is important if you're using them outdoors. I use a lot of zippers on bike projects with electric motors and fairings made out of coroplast and secured with zippers. We had a saying in the Marine Corps that anything can be held in place with 550 gauge cord, tape or zip ties. That being said, this set gives you the power to tackle just about any project that comes up. I can't rate them for ease of use, I mean they are zip ties.
