    Okay, but some were missing a metal insert to separate the ends.

    They're great when they have a metal cap. However, some didn't have a metal piece, which meant I had to pull them out and try another. I only needed 4 of these for what I needed in the basement so that was more than enough.

    High Quality Steel Concrete Anchor

    I have used many different concrete anchoring systems over the years and love the style. It's important to drill an exact size hole in the concrete because if you drill a hole that's too big, it won't harden. You must provide your own washers and bolts to use these anchors as they only perform part of the nut's function. However, they are easy to assemble and hold up very well.
