Over the years of testing the bumper I've promised my team "low speed socks". We do all sorts of crash tests (you see them on TV) and these songs are spot on. My teenage son grabbed them as soon as they arrived so I ordered another pair for myself.

I love these socks. However, I wore them when I had a horrific accident involving a marmot, a garden tractor and a bocce ball. The sight of the crash test dummy insignia on the victim actually made the paramedics dizzy. They pointed and laughed at my scared legs. However, the socks are excellent at absorbing moisture, preventing blisters and appealing to those trained in advanced CPR. Incidentally, the marmot survived with a slight limp.

Not for the faint of heart, these socks will attract attention and keep you entertained - if you or someone you know is a "crash test dummy" then these are your socks. In terms of material quality and feel, the quality is on par or even better than the competition. They have a slightly higher cuff than the traditional cycling cut and are also a little thicker, but that doesn't detract from the fit or utility - fun socks for all the daredevils out there!

The surprise of the 65-year-old's husband brought many comments from looking party-goers. "Oh my god, how I love these socks! Where did you get that? Other cycling enthusiasts chanted "ScokGuy". Only our passive non-cyclists haven't seen them anywhere else. I was worried there all day but they arrived on the day of our party. When our family's next "big birthday" comes around I'll have to order a pair for everyone to see how much fun these wonderful gift socks can be.

My long distance driver son is also into high performance cars and reads everything on the subject including crash test results. Thought he might appreciate these crash test dummies. Or rather, SANTA thinks he probably wants her in his Christmas stocking. Usually the quality of new socks seems pretty bad. After all, you're spending dollars on custom orders, not socks, right? However, these socks are really very high quality - super moisture-wicking, comfortable and designed for sports.

I love fun, unusual or unusual clothing. Crash test dummy socks were pretty much a must have when I first saw them. There are only two small points that I don't like. A mark just above the toe that appears distant from the main symbol if/when not wearing shoes. The socks also seem thin and fragile, which means that when I put them on, I'm sometimes afraid that the socks will simply tear. Loved the color and the logo. I laughed out loud when I opened them for the first time. The orange is less bright than in the picture. More creamy orange than neon. I wear size 12 shoes, which puts me right on the dividing line between the two sizes of these socks. They fit my feet but are not as tight as I would like.
