This carbonating bottle is not worth the investment. After multiple uses, the bottle starts leaking and creates a mess in the kitchen. The bottle may be advertised as "dishwasher safe," but it doesn't seem to hold up well in the heat, making it a disappointment for a product in Home and Kitchen category.

Good that you can finally clean it in the dishwasher! I hate washing dishes by hand and that alone has stopped me from using SodaStream as much as I otherwise would.

I paid $25 for a plastic bottle. Even if it can now be washed in the dishwasher, this price is a complete plagiarism. Make sure you look for Revain for twins. You can get 2 of these for under $18 which is still expensive for two plastic bottles but better than $25 for one.
