Did the job. - my new review

Bought this splitter to have a hose to wash down the back yard and one to water my plants. Splitter is well made and zero leaks good product.

Pros
  • Sturdy, easy to install. Fit both the faucet and my hoses.
Cons
  • Screwed it on... Turned the water on... KAPLOW!!! (Need I write more?)

High Quality Splitter!

Couldn't source these locally. All i could find were cheap plastic or chrome-plated pot metal ones. So glad I found these high quality brass fittings. I have four outdoor faucets with two hoses on each one, and these easily allow me to switch the water to the correct hose without having to unscrew one to use the other.

Leaks big time in my review

I have had this for about 2 years, and it has not held up any better than an inexpensive plastic one. Leaks terrible, and knobs are very hard to turn.

  • It was easy to install all fittings are good and washers were included as well.
Cons
  • Broke on second use. Threaded couple linking to those literally popped off for no reason.

Don't think I would but again.

Attacked to faucet,turned tap on, water squirted everywhere. Checked and washer was in. I then used washer tape around faucet and reattached.

  • Seemed to be good quality. But the valves are not easy to turn off in particular, or on.
Cons
  • One of the lines broke at the beginning of the threads. Useless.

Nice fitting good for me

This is a very solid piece of hose gear. Small but really all you need. Replace the gaskets as needed and this little thing will last a lifetime!

Fitting comes apart

The primary male thread has a sub thread into the unit and will come apart dropping the internal ball that turns. The fitting should be a solid piece but it is not.

Leaked! on my review.

The black ring inside was too loose it couldn’t hold in the water. We tried the extras that came with it and none of them worked. It is going back. Don’t know why it had such high ratings.

Great for RO/DI unit

I used this product to attach both my washing machine and reverse osmosis unit to the cold water in my laundry room and it was easy to install and works great with no leaks.

almost perfect. - my new review

I bought two of these and set them up this past week. They work great but i had one small problem that i wanted to point out. The end cap for the two split sections can unscrew, allowing the ball stop to come out. I had tightened a hose down onto one of the ends, used it and then took that hose back off. When i did this, the end cap of that section actually unscrewed with the hose. it was a pain to get the end piece back out of the hose and then to get the ball back into the socket correctly to
