I almost bought a set with bat, net and birds. But reading the reviews I saw that most of them had complaints about one or more of these things. So I decided to do everything separately. and that was my pure choice. This is fantastic. It is very easy and quick to set up and is made of durable metal to withstand the inevitable wear and tear that will continue. Buy with confidence. It also keeps the mesh good and secure.

Unfortunately this net broke on first use. The sticks don't stay upright to make the net about waist length. We can still use it, but only if we tie the rubber bands on the outside to hold the bars and then have to untie them to fit it back in the bag. I really like the design as it's very easy to figure out how to raise and lower it and it's packaged very neatly with a foam pad that prevents the sticks from bumping into each other. Too bad that the quality is not inferior to the design.

We installed this in under 10 minutes. It fits together like the poles of a tent. In terms of strength, we put it up on our patio and it hasn't once fallen over while playing (or otherwise) and the wind has hardly caught or knocked anything over, but a few weights would have kept it light. It comes with stakes that can be fixed in the grass if needed. We often use the height adjustment to switch between badminton and cucumber ball, and kids can do it themselves. Well, I originally bought this to relieve my boredom at home after spending the last few months in quarantine. I had badminton racquets and birdies and used them in my yard without a net for a while but thought I'd improve our game and finally buy a net. I have the 13ft version and it's great! Our group wanted to buy a net for indoor and outdoor use. 17 inches seemed reasonable and was the longest length available (20 feet would have been nice to cover the width of the court). The seams could be better but haven't seen them tear yet. Just for the sake of satisfaction and durability, we added another stitching around the existing one.
