This box is just a dream. It surprisingly has a lot of my bijuu and jewelry, although it didn't look very roomy at first. Sections are well designed for all types and sizes of jewelry. The only things I need to keep separate are very large bracelets and necklaces. Plus it's so elegant and looks great in my white bedroom.

I use this on the bathroom counter for my most used earrings etc (we all have certain pieces of jewelry that wear out more than others). It's small enough to handle jewelry for "normal use" without digging through a large box. It would make a lovely jewelry box for a young girl, but not for someone who tends to buy everything they see.

My 8 year old granddaughter just got her ears pierced and I also bought her small silver necklaces while traveling so she needed an older jewelry box. She had to separate her play/costume jewelry from the good stuff. She will love it! I didn't know he had jeweled drawer handles. High quality box, great price!

EDIT: Boxes fall out very easily. It's not a big problem, but annoying when I have to move the box. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Beautiful box. Perfect for those with a medium sized jewelry collection. The trim and velvet lining are perfect. I don't like flashy gems for decoration, but I don't mind the fake gem handles on this box. Everything came in excellent condition.

I ordered a black jewelry box to highlight my lingerie and because my previous jewelry box broke. There is the Lottery Barn vibe and I can tell you this place is my weakness. Such cheap price tags lol! The box is made of very smooth plastic that almost looks like very smooth wood, if that makes sense.
