When the product arrived I was surprised that the roll was not over wrapped and had clearly been opened but I didn’t think too much about it since the film looked to be in good shape. I've never used window cling before but I wanted to cover up my bedroom windows with something rather than just keep my curtains closed most of the time. I think perhaps using a ruler and exacto knife may have made this easier. It wasn’t "difficult” but I noticed that once I had the film on the window my trimmings weren’t. perfect (I used scissors and a tape measure) lol. Also with my particular windows there’s about an inch and a half of window still left uncovered above the film because it didn’t quite fit. I’ll put a picture of that. We moved into a new home and it backs up to a culdesac on the other side of our backyard. The Master Bath has a huge window that had blinds, but we like to keep plants near our garden tub. My window is wide and high, so I needed a second person with a second ladder to help me install the film. I measured the window and pre-cut the film before beginning the installation, so all we had to do while up on the ladders was trim just a little bit of excess. Total time to install was about 15 minutes; measuring and pre-cutting took longer. I'm very happy with the results.

Having problems with heat and to much light in my rv door window. Wanted some light but did not like window shade so tried Coavas privacy window film . I used cardboard to make pattern for window. Color is just what I wanted. When installing it used spray bottle . Wet it down lined it up used my bondo tool to smooth out . It is a little tedious but got it lined up and stuck on . Love it less heat and light and privacy.

I have been very pleased with this product.I first measured the window (glass only, obviously). Then I cleaned it with a mixture of ammonia, dish soap, and water followed by drying with paper towels. I then applied a fairly light spray of plain water. I cut down the film to size, pulled off the clear backing, & applied to the window, using a credit card to slide across the surface of the film to remove air bubbles. I love that this product lets light through but allows for privacy. Was super easy to install, just make sure you have a squeegee to get air bubbles out. My window looks directly into my neighbors bedroom window & they could see through my kitchen straight down my hallway. When I got out of the shower I always had to do a check to make sure no one was in their room so I could run to mine. And doing dishes, just awkward. I love this! My daughter has Autism, and won’t keep anything like blinds or curtains on her windows, so I got this. The only part that slightly difficult is cutting it to size to fit the window, but even that wasn’t that difficult. Unfortunately she kept ripping it down, and scrunching it up into a little ball. We used this for a large window above the bathtub. The window was already translucent but you could still see movement and shapes from the outside. This product completely blocked off any movement visible from the outside but still lets in a lot of light. I was surprised at how thick and sturdy the material is. It’s not easy to tear. I absolutely appreciate how easily this went on and my windows look wonderful. I’m not a huge fan of blinds because of the amount of dust they hold.I put this beautiful paper on the bottom of my windows and left the top plain so I’d have plenty of light while still having privacy at the bottom. You can’t see thru the paper from the outside of the house at night.The color is so pretty and it went on very easily. Turned out perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you

We use the films on RV entry door windows to block the light and add a touch. Usually, windows are wierd oval shape so a bit tough to cut, but went in well and looks great.

The photo was taken right after I installed at night so it’s not as beautiful as it looks during the day but this product is amazing! Quality material, simple instructions, and simpler installation. mine did not come with a squeegee but I just used something random I had around the house. Be careful it’s not too sharp because you can scratch the design. My dogs scratch at this door to go potty and it’s not leaving any marks! And everyone complements it when they come over. A wall with three small (about 20" squared) windows made it difficult to see our TV screen in the daytime. Instructions were simple and clear. The film cut easily with scissors, but next time I'd use a razor and straight edge. Removing the backing was tricky and we damaged the film a little trying to get it started to separate. Sticks to glass like glue with no adhesive. Looks great and now TV glare is negligible.

The pattern is so pretty! We got this to keep the dogs out of the window at night and it's not see through but still let's the sunlight in! Easy to put on! All you need is a spray bottle and something to smooth it!

I will definitely buy this again, just not in the blue color. Was absolutely gorgeous from the inside of my house. But very hard to see from the outside it just didn't look right.

Beautiful design, but unless you're getting DIRECT sunlight in your window it may be a little too dark for a walk-in shower. Use a small window squeegee not a plastic tool or it will tear a hole in the film.

Absolutely perfect privacy and easy to put up. Mine is a year up and still beautiful. Do realize that at night shadow can fall on the window so you need to set the lamp or light in such a way that it does not catch your shadow.
