I think perhaps using a ruler and exacto knife may have made this easier. It wasn’t "difficult” but I noticed that once I had the film on the window my trimmings weren’t. perfect (I used scissors and a tape measure) lol. Also with my particular windows there’s about an inch and a half of window still left uncovered above the film because it didn’t quite fit. I’ll put a picture of that. So I guess I could have or should have gone larger in size. I wasn’t able to "match” a piece on top of it to where it looked natural with the picture so I just left it alone and keep my blinds over it!Anyways, those were MY mistakes when doing this. But the product itself is lovely. I wanted privacy windows and this adds a touch of color and beauty. I stepped outside and couldn’t see through it, my sister was standing inside for perspective - couldn’t see her at all (during the daytime)! It’s hearty in the sense that the film doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. I can’t comment yet about the lasting effects of the adhesion but so far so good. Also can’t comment on the removal as I’ve just put it up, no need to remove it but I imagine it comes off easily as it’s only adhered with water!
