I've never used window cling before but I wanted to cover up my bedroom windows with something rather than just keep my curtains closed most of the time. It looks exactly like the photo and looks super pretty in the sunlight. A good amount of light still comes through without being too intense and isn't see-through at all from the outside.This is my second attempt with this window cling as I didn't have enough to cover both windows on my first try. After measuring the windows I rolled the cling out on the floor and had no issues cutting it using an x-acto knife with a new blade. Putting it on the window was the hardest part as I did it by myself but the rest of the process was super easy and when I didn't get the placement right I was able to make adjustments.After cleaning off the windows I sprayed them with half rubbing alcohol/half water and that seemed to make the cling adhere to the window better. Instead of using a squeegee I used a big sewing ruler which made getting all the bubbles out easy. A couple outer edges had peeled back a bit after a few days but I just used little pieces of clear tape to keep them in place.
